Our hybrid microgrid systems improve uptime and give you a power partner with engineers on the ground.

Grid-connected and islandable microgrids integrating diesel generators, solar, wind, and battery storage into a single, seamlessly managed system. Our modular battery solutions stack capacity from 2 MWh up to 20 MWh, built for on-the-ground conditions and off-grid power supply.

Sunflow has delivered 9 MW of solar and 34 MWh of battery storage across US embassy retrofits, with a $40.8M embassy project backlog. Our systems meet US government design and security standards, and our teams have delivered inside secure facilities across Africa and Europe. For government clients, that means a contractor who already knows the compliance, clearance, and reporting requirements before day one.

Every system pairs with the Ageto ARC Microgrid Controller, featuring intelligent load management, battery management system integration, up to five years of historical data recording, and remote access through cloud integration. Custom switchgear, engineered with built-in intelligence and logic controls, integrates multiple power sources through a single Master Control Panel.
 

With end-to-end project delivery, Sunflow manages all aspects of microgrid installation without relying on external contractors. Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces ensure robust, reliable operation for critical projects, maintaining continuous functionality even in the event of a component failure.

Sunflow Zambia

Zambia faces a 2,400 MW power demand against just 900 MW of available supply. Mining consumes 50% of that electricity. The mines, the farms, and the data centers being built to serve the continent's digital future all need more. Sunflow is on the ground in Zambia, building the power infrastructure that keeps industry running and enables what comes next.

Sunflow Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe has some of the richest mineral deposits in the world — platinum, lithium, gold, chrome — and one of the most unreliable power grids on the continent. Sunflow has been on the ground in Zimbabwe since 2018, building the power infrastructure that keeps mines producing, farms running, and embassies operational.
